Meet Elise King
Elise King is the founder of EKD Advisory, a fractional executive and strategy consultant serving scaling businesses who need a trusted operator to turn big ideas into executed reality.
Before founding EKD Advisory, Elise spent her career in operating roles at the intersection of strategy and execution — helping executives turn big ideas into researched, actionable implementation plans. Through these roles, Elise was always involved with external stakeholders and knows that building strong external partnerships is just as important as fostering internal relationships. Most recently she was VP of Strategy and Partnerships at CNA National, a vehicle service and ancillary product provider, where she led the strategic review and reorientation of the company's largest customer relationship, along with cross-functional initiatives from concept through rollout. Her background also spans United Pet Care, a pet healthcare company, and Sculptor Capital, an alternative asset manager, giving her range across industries and business stages, from fast-moving to institutional environments.
Elise graduated from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. She recently completed MIT Sloan's Executive Education program in AI for Business Strategy — bringing a current, practical lens to how AI can be applied inside growing organizations.
She has been recognized among Arizona's Top 50 Women Leaders (2022 and 2024) and stays active in her community through board involvement in education and financial literacy nonprofits.
Elise founded EKD Advisory on a simple belief: most businesses don't fail from a lack of good ideas — they stall in the ability to separate distraction from discipline, and to actually implement. She built EKD Advisory to close that gap, working as an embedded, boutique partner.
